America, Fuck Yeah!

I'm back on my native soil. But then, some would argue that I was REALLY on my native soil whilst in the Czech Republic due to ancestral origins. Whatever.

I took a lot of pictures, and had some adventures. Here's a quick synopsis:

This is what the former Soviet Union thinks of the free market:

I met a kid named Lukas who was wearing a Motorhead t-shirt at the
biggest dance club in "central europe."
He was pretty cool and had a czech rock band.

Then I went to Krakow, Poland and took up smoking a pipe.

I saw some modern art:

I went to a castle:

Then I went to little podunk town called Kutna Hora to
look at a church covered in human bones:

Then I needed to drink beers out of 1 liter mugs:

Now I need to sleep.

Busy Bee

Okay, it's been a little while but I'm finally getting around to making another post.

Prague has been pretty sweet, and my classes are nearly over, so I am sitting pretty right now. Basically I'm looking down the barrel of two weeks of hassle free vacation in Europe, which ain't so bad.
I've been crusing around a little bit so far. Last weekend I was in Krakow, Poland for a 4 days of moderate to heavy debauchery. One of my companions took a hard spill and ended up in a Polish hospital for a little bit. I, however, emerged unscathed but intoxicated.
The previous weekend I was in Plzen, Czech Republic which is the home to the pilsner method of brewing beer and to numerous breweries. I toured the Pilsener Urquell brewery and was treated to a taste of the very best beer I've ever had in my life period.
Next Friday the Girlfriend arrives and we are headed to Budapest, Hungary amongst other destinations. If I'm lucky, I'll return home with my sanity, at least a few dollars (or crowns, or zloty, or forints) to my name, and plenty of good memories to share.
