Free World? Maybe. Rocked? Yes.

Once again Marshall Cretin graced the stage of the humble Terminal Bar, delivering a suprisingly rawkous set given the newfound sobriety of one of the most steadfast members/drinkers. In fact, we gave away 2 of our 3 free pitchers of Pabst and still had a good time. Tom had guitar issues, as always, but Ben said it's nothing an inline tuner can't fix.

Also rocking out were North Styrenn, a band we played with at the now-defunkt Five Corners Saloon just over a year ago. Real nice bunch of guys. We'll be playing with them again on September 1st (my birthday to those of you paying attention) at the Annex.

Lutsen Lutsen Bo Bootsen

Last time I was on the North Shore it was winter and we spent most of our time getting drunk and angering our fellow vacationers.
This time was no different, except that there weren't any drunken shenanigans and I didn't anger any of the other vacationers.
I did, however, wade out into the icy waters of Lake Superior and got smoked by a big wave.

Okay, the wave in that picture doesn't look that big.
That's because the one that got me came just after the picture was taken.

So there!
